This week we have another Hysteria 2015 Finalist to welcome, she is also the author of The Helpmeet. Her new novel has been selected with eleven other finalist/winners for the Greenbean Novel Fair later this month. The annual event in Dublin is an Irish Writers Centre initiative, offering writers a unique opportunity to meet some of the most influential people in Irish publishing, introducing one-to-one meetings with top publishers and literary agents.

This week I’d like you all to meet Nicola Warwick. After attempts to write plays and novels, she rediscovered poetry while taking a Diploma in Creative Writing in 1999, and has been writing more seriously since then. She has been published in several poetry magazines, including the Rialto, Acumen, the South and Poetry Review and has been shortlisted in many competitions including Hysteria 2015. Meeting Janet Lees – Poetry category finalist

Please welcome Janet Lees, one of the Hysteria 4 Poetry category winners. A freelance copywriter for many years, she rediscovered her love of poetry. Now published in journals including  Magma, Poetry News, The Missing Slate and Right Hand Pointing. She has also taken part in and created video poems and has been selected for various international festivals, competitions and art prizes, including Filmpoem, the Aesthetica Art Prize, the Neo Art Prize and the Ó’Bhéal International Poetry Film Competition. Finally, in 2014 she represented the Isle of Man in the BBC’s Poetry Postcards project.
