The R. Douglas Wardrop Interview

doug wardropWhat is one thing that no-one would usually know about you?

I was once security cleared to work on Top-Secret-UK IT projects.

How did you choose a title for your book?

I only began writing when God told me to (I have been a Christian for about 11.5 years– now May 2015) and I only write when and what He tells me to – including the title which He gives me.

What is the single biggest challenge you faced when writing your book?

Just doing what God told me to do.

What has been the best experience you have ever had in your life?

Attending the separate births of my two kids – David who is now 11 and Ellie who is 9.

Where do you find your inspiration?

Only ever from God.

What is your favourite TV moment of all time?

I think it was watching Sandy Lyle win the US Masters golf tournament in the late 1980s – he is Scottish (so am I); I had a bet on him winning; I am a golfer; and I had another can of beer to drink…. 🙂
