Did you know that there were Twitter business directories?   If not, then this is the place to find out about just a few of them.  For any business using Twitter to promote themselves, it is important that potential customers can find those ‘tweets’ when they want them.

A Twitter business directory is simply a website that has integrate it’s listings of businesses with Twitter so that you search the categories and find relevant businesses within specific industry sectors.

  • Twellow – their website has one aim and that is to help users “cut through the clutter”.   I wonder if the name comes from the brightly coloured layout!
  • Twibs – their purpose is to “Give twitter users a place to find businesses on twitter”.
  • Twitterati – the Twitter version of Technorati (the search engine for Blogs)
  • TwitBiz – is just what it implies, a directory of businesses on Twitter.  It contains listings of all sorts including, businesses, organisations, companies, employees and many others.
