It tells the story of Rosemary who visits Cornwall for just one week in September and in the process not only discovers a love of picking blackberries but also revisits the reality that is her life and the role she has had in how it has worked out. In the process the Rosie that has always lain within emerges and she becomes whole once more.
The novel’s delicate touch lights a path to our own inner reality, giving us all a little more insight into why we do the things we do and what happens when things change.
